Our Code of Ethics

1. Crafted by Hand, One Set at a Time

No two sets are ever identical. Every swirl, shimmer and imperfection tells its own tale. We pour, polish and paint each die by hand, using methods that reflect patience, experimentation and artistic freedom. Machine-perfect isn’t our goal — character is.

2. Disability-Inclusive by Design

Distorted Vision Dice is built on the belief that disability is not a limitation — it’s a lens. As a colourblind creator, I navigate the world of pigments differently than most. Some colour combinations that look "off" to others feel balanced to me. Rather than correct my form to the normal standard, I lean into it, allowing it to guide my palettes and decisions. We recognize and respect all forms of perception and aim to create products that feel bold, strange and beautiful from every angle.

3. Transparency in Imperfection

Because our dice are handmade, minor surface variations and inconsistencies may occur. These are not flaws — they’re proof of process. We won’t hide or digitally alter our dice to misrepresent them. What you see is what you’ll receive.

4. Community, Not Conformity

We welcome misfits, storytellers and rule-breakers alike. Whether you’re drawn to our dice because they’re different — or because you are — you’re in the right place. We value authenticity over popularity and inclusion over aesthetic trend.

5. Commitment to Accessibility and Growth

This shop will always evolve — in process, design and understanding. We're committed to making our site, our products and our content more accessible, both visually and structurally. If something isn’t working for you, we want to know. If our colours feel off, we’ll explain why. If you have questions, we’ll answer with honesty.
